1. How can I reach the workshop location?

The morning sessions of the Alkmaar Cardiac PET/CT Workshop 2023 will be held at the Foreestzaal (in the hospital, Entrance Metiusgracht). The hands-on afternoon sessions will be held at the Northwest Academy of the Noordwest Ziekenhuis Groep (location Westerlicht) which is located at the Prinses Julianalaan 14, 1815 JE in Alkmaar. This location is within walking distance of the hospital. The hospital is easily accessible by public transport or by car. The Nuclear Medicine Department is located in the basement of the Northwest Hospital Group (0030), Wilhelminalaan 12, 1815 JD, Alkmaar. See Information tab for more info about the locations.

2. How and when do I register?

Registration starts on April 1st 2023 and will be processed in order of receipt. If the number of available seats is exceeded, participants can, if desired, be placed on a reserve list. Early registration is recommended. Registration only becomes final after your payment is confirmed. The workshop will only take place when a minimum of 10 participants apply.

3. What is the registration fee of the workshop?

The registration fee of the workshop is €650 for early registration before or on July 31, 2023. From August 1, 2023 the registration fee will be €850. This includes course material, coffee/tea, lunches and a joint dinner in the historic Alkmaar city centre. Payment must be made electronically (e.g. IDEAL), after which a proof of payment will be sent.

4. What are the cancellation conditions?

Cancellation of your registration must be done in writing via info@petctworkshop.nl and is final only after written confirmation.

5. What is the refund policy in case of cancellation?

Full refund when less than 10 participants apply. From June 1 to August 20, 2023: full refund minus €50,- administration costs. From August 21 to September 10, 2023: 80% refund. After September 10, 2023 no refund will be given.

6. Which organizations have applied for accreditation?

The workshop has been accredited by the Dutch Society of Cardiology (NVVC - 12 points), Dutch Society of Nuclear Medicine (NVNG - 12 points) and the Dutch Society of Clinical Physicists (NVKF - 12 points).

7. How many workstations are available for the hands-on sessions?

We aim an occupancy of one participant per workstation for the hands-on workshops.

8. Will my registration fee be refunded in the unlikely event that the workshop is cancelled due to COVID-19 issues?

If the Dutch government imposes restrictions on COVID-19 and as a result the workshop cannot take place, a refund of the entire registration fee minus €50,- administration costs will follow. The organization reserves the right to change the program, for instance to divide the workshops into two smaller groups (morning and afternoon sessions will then be switched for one group). In case of cancellation due to COVID-19 restrictions, the organization will not be liable for any consequential damages.

9. Am I permitted to copy the cases on my mass storage device for later personal use?

No. It is not allowed to copy any course material for your own use.

10. Will PDFs of the lecture slides be provided after the course?

No, but we will be happy to share our expertise in other ways after attending the course.

11. What is the spoken language of this workshop?

In case of international attendees, the entire workshop will be held in English.

12. Where can I park my car?

The best place for parking your car is at one of the parking lots of the hospital. The parking rates should be around €17 per day (see Parking at Noordwest). A good alternative is the Singelgarage. Parking rates of the Singelgarage are currently about €17 for one full day.
